Our Approach

We want to help you think, plan, learn and explore. As time goes on we will be releasing new tools that enhance these skills. Lectica is just one example.

We are also working on a tool to improve the quality and conciseness of debate between interest groups, both in text and video form.

Also, we are developing a music training application that helps students become familiarized with music scales and the fingerings of their instrument.

Founder & CEO

With a long background in education IT support, systems, IT administration, and software development, and yes, even teaching, Pete Freedman has applied these skills to helping students learn, helping educators educate and helping support staff support.  That means Pete has worked with teams implementing lots of varied stuff like:

• Videoconferencing in the classroom bringing students together from different campuses
• Writing a custom typing speed test to enable HR to use their specific typing standards to screen job applicants
• Digitize special collections documents to the web using OCR software followed proofreading, editing, and formatting
• Writing a software tool to automate the production of realistic terrains for use in 3D environments

Pete has also taught in various settings, from martial arts to computer training sessions, to tutoring academic deans in PeopleSoft to tutoring a toddler in gifted and talented prep.  These last two aren’t as different as you might think!
